Dallas Community Mikveh

Mission Statement

The Dallas Community Mikveh is an open, welcoming, and accessible sacred space 
for immersion in the living waters Jewish life, 
and sacred engagement with our dynamic tradition in ancient and contemporary ways.   

The autonomy and authority of spiritual leaders who officiate and teach at the Dallas Community Mikveh is recognized and respected, and we honor and celebrate the diversity of all who immerse.  The Dallas Community Mikveh is overseen by the Vaad HaMikvah under the auspices of the Rabbinic Association of Greater Dallas.

Scheduling

Please be aware that conversion appointments will not be available on Shabbat or on other Jewish or secular holidays on which the Tiferet Israel Office is closed. When scheduling a date, please view our calendar below and note the dates marked “No Mikveh Appointments Available.”

Mikveh appointments for the sake of conversion may be scheduled Sunday-Thursday in consultation with your clergy member. (On Fridays Tiferet Israel is preparing for Shabbat).

For all mikveh appointments scheduled for the sake of a lifecycle event or conversion, please meet your clergy person in the front hallway of Tiferet Israel. Private immersions will receive an emailed code to enter from the back.

  • Once you have decided upon the day and time of your appointment, complete and submit the form below along with payment. Please make sure to include all the names of everyone who will be using the mikveh.

When You Arrive

Please bring your own towel and shower shoes to prepare for the mikveh, as everyone must shower before using the mikveh. While we do provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap, you are welcome to bring your own toiletries, as well. If you would like the assistance or company of a mikveh attendant for a private immersion, please bring a friend or family member with you to witness your immersion or welcome you when you emerge from the room. For those immersing for conversion or lifecycle moment, your clergy will discuss your mikveh witnesses with you.

You may be visiting the mikveh for the sake of conversion, to practice something new before a wedding, or to mark the passing of a significant moment in time. Whatever the reason, and whatever your connection to Jewish life, we are thrilled to welcome you to this sacred space, at this holy time.  We pray you will emerge from the mikveh bathed in hope.
